Niwakaform

From the street, NIWAKA Ginza looks like a stack of offset blocks—woven, latticed, and shifting in an uneven rhythm. Each floor has its own wave-like shape. Light hits the surface and brings out the building’s abstract quality, especially at night when it really stands out from the road. Seeing it got me thinking—how could you build something like that with code? That’s what led me to make Niwakaform—a white-on-white façade, like paper under a streetlight.
The building was designed by IAO.
